Labradorite


Description

Named for its place of discovery in Labrador Canada, labradorite ranges in color from dark grey to brownish black and displays a remarkable rainbow-like iridescence. While the finest specimens luminesce the entire spectrum of color, most stones display flashes of peacock blue, yellow and violet.
